AM FIL Home Care Services provides assisted living for seniors and adults who need help at home. Our Non-Medical home services agency is LICENSED by Illinois Department of Public Health, INSURED and BONDED for your protection. Let our carefully selected, screened and trained caregivers manage your entire in- home care experience. Our staff has more than 20 years of experience and supervises the care you receive to ensure you have the assistance you need.

Our mission is to provide excellent quality service assistance in order to preserve and maintain the dignity and independence of your loved ones.

Services

Come and Go

4 hours (Minimum) up to 24 hours a day. For 24-hour shifts, we send 2 different caregivers, one during the day and another at night - (12 hour shift).

Live in

Live in caregivers should have 5-6 hours of uninterrupted sleep at night.



Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):

Bathing and Showering: Our caregivers can help those who need assistance bathing and showering.

Personal hygiene and grooming: Our caregivers can help you take care of necessary grooming activities such as brushing teeth and combing hair.

Dressing: Our caregivers can help you get dressed each morning and at night before bed.

Transferring: If the mobility is limited, our caregivers can help you move around the home, shift positions in bed, and get up from the bed, couch and wheelchair.

Incontinence: Our caregivers can help those who struggle with incontinence in a respectful and dignified manner.

Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs):

Medication reminders: Our caregivers will provide medication reminders to ensure that the right dose is taken at the right time.

Meal preparation: Our caregivers can prepare meals for you each day. Will handle the cooking and cleaning and ensure that your meals account for your dietary restrictions.

Light Housekeeping: Our caregivers can help keep the home clean by helping put with certain light housekeeping duties.

Transportation: Our caregivers can provide transportation to take you anywhere you need to go including family gatherings, doctor appointments, and other important events. Mileage and gas may apply if our caregiver’s car will be used.

Errands: Our caregivers can also help with necessary errands including grocery shopping and prescription pickups.
